You know when you meet a cool new friend and you all just vibe? Well, that was us and our new pal, The Boca Doll who took us behind the scenes of Palm Beach Records, the studio she and her sound engineer hubby own and operate in Boca Raton. In honor of her first visit to CRN, we kicked things off with some Badass Barbie Cocktails in honor of "The Doll".
The Badass Barbie
1 Lime and cherries
Black sugar to rim the glass
1 oz Cranberry juice
1 oz Orange juice
1 oz Pineapple juice
1-ish oz Berry vodka
1-ish oz Coconut rum
Pour all of the liquids into a shaker of ice and blend. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip the rim into a plate of black sugar.
Fill the glass with ice and add the liquids. Garnish with a cherry and a lime wedge!
Chopra Center Blends
Mia is deep into Ayurveda, which teaches us that balance is the key to health and happiness and recommends the use of specific herbs and spices to aid in the elimination of physical and emotional toxins (ama).
Harney & Sons Master Tea Blenders partnered with the Chopra Center (as in Deepak, the wellness guru) to create this delicious line of balancing teas to help you detox and cleanse your body and so it can return to a natural state of balance (easier for some of us than others, but we digress).
Their many tea collections and most popular tea blends are available in a variety of sachets, tea bags, tea capsules, convenient brewing pouches to make a pitcher of iced tea, and seasonal and specialty loose teas.
Zadig & Voltaire
Zadig & Voltaire is one of Tiffany's favorite labels, with a rock and roll edge. Their fashion-forward collections include bold-printed jackets, punchy sweaters, and edgy tees. Zadig & Voltaire combines effortless, autonomous dressing with the energy and intellect of literary and art world icons, from 18th century writer Voltaire to musical muses Patti Smith, Marianne Faithfull, and Jane Birkin.
The price point is spendy, but their frequent sales drive them into friendlier territory. Rock on!
